About the University of Portsmouth Gaming Society.

The society is started in late 2007 by students mainly studying in the engineering faculty of the University. We are a multi-disciplinary gaming society and have many members who play CS:S and other games online regularly, we also have a large section of console users.

As well as regular LAN sessions, there is also an oportunity to play games and chat with fellow members every Sunday online. A wide range of games are played and the society is very keen to play new things. Of course, no society would be complete without that all important pub social! We meet at The Fleet every Tuesday during term time from 7pm to have a drink, chat about gaming and get to know eachother. Tuesday nights have always been popular and the friendly atmosphere means that anyone is welcome to join us!

This year (2009/2010 term) we hope to expand and welcome to many new members.
